The Black Otter is the commercial pseudonym for Oliver Robinson, a freelance web developer and web programmer with seven years commercial experience.

My clients include web design and web marketing agencies in the northwest of England, where I usually work as part of a larger web development team, specialising in the programming of websites.

My broad range of IT skills, which includes a background in desgin work, allows me to undertake complete web development projects for individual clients.

Based in Burnley in East Lancashire, just off the M65 (see map) I can easily reach destinations within the Northwest, or develop projects from home if required.

One small step, one giant leap!

When the Black Otter has finished working hard, he likes to play hard! So while visiting Nepal I decided to sample the delights of the worlds longest rope swing (see video).

At this point I really ought to say something like: A willingness to put my faith in technology and leap into something completely new exemplifies my attitude towards web development (but that could sound almost unbelievably crass!).
